How to Prepare a Period Pants OEM RFQ Without Delays
2026-07-10
A clear RFQ does not need to be long, but it does need the right information. For disposable menstrual pants OEM projects, missing size, pack count or channel details can slow down sampling more than the product idea itself.
Start With Use Scenario, Not Only Size
Many buyers begin with a size request, but period pants are worn products. A better starting point is the use scenario: overnight, postpartum care packs, travel kits, summer retail lines, or value packs for daily backup.
The scenario affects waist feel, leg opening, core thickness, pack count and carton plan. If the use case is clear, the sample room can match structure and packaging faster.
Separate Product Decisions From Packaging Decisions
Product structure and outer packaging should be reviewed together, but they should not be mixed in one vague request. First define the wearing product: size, absorbent core, waist type and sample target. Then define the commercial pack: pieces per bag, bag style, carton count and label format.
This keeps the discussion practical. A buyer can compare samples by body fit and surface feel, then compare packaging by shelf, e-commerce or distributor needs.
Use Photos Carefully
Reference photos are useful when they show direction, but they should not replace a specification sheet. Photos can show package style, size feeling or waistband idea. They cannot show full structure, material match or carton plan.
For Nafei projects, we prefer combining reference photos with a short buyer note. That gives the factory enough context without forcing the product into a copy of another market item.
Buyer Review Table
| Review point | What to confirm | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Product type | Disposable menstrual pants, overnight pants or side-open pants | Prevents the sample room from choosing the wrong base structure |
| Target wearer | Size range, waist preference and main use scenario | Supports better fit and pack planning |
| Packaging | Pieces per pack, carton count and language needs | Helps quote and artwork planning move faster |
| Order plan | Sample quantity, first order idea and repeat order rhythm | Gives the factory a realistic production discussion basis |
